This date wants to remember both the social, economic and political achievements, and the discrimination and violence that women have been, and are still today the object in almost all parts of the world.
The International Women's Day does not belong to anyone, has no political side, does not have a specific nation, does not belong to any group, it belongs to all mankind! To ALL of us!
The UN hopes that the Gender Gap can be filled in 2030, although the extrapolation of the data collected to date suggests the need for greater efforts to achieve a Planet 50-50.
The UN's motto for 2019 is
"Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change".
